Kisumu All Stars Head Coach Henry Omino says he is hopeful for the future and that the team will work on confidence in addition to more ball possession as the team plans for its next KPL encounter in Machakos against KCB.
Speaking during the post match interview after a 0-2 defeat to Ulinzi FC, Omino said he regretted conceding the two early second half goals which destabilized the initials plans of bagging all the points.
”We played well.We wanted to be more cautious and we tried as we could to put the game in their territory in the 2nd half.We regret conceding the two early second half goals,” Omino told the Club’s official website.
Omino also added that more ball possession will result to more penetration that will aid in finding the back of net in the upcoming match.
Meanwhile, Rising Stars coach Stanley Okumbi has named the Kenya U20 national team’s provisional squad for the upcoming CECAFA U20 Championships in Uganda and among them are three Kisumu All Stars players.
