Former Gor Mahia defender Joash Onyango will start for Tanzanian giants Simba SC as they take on Namungo FC in the Community Shield also known as ‘Ngao ya Jamii’.

Another new signing, Bernard Morrison will also start the game.

Onyango and Morrison were part of the Simba team that beat Burundian side Vital’O Fc 6-0 with the latter getting his name on the scoresheet.

Another Kenyan, Francis Kahata is not in the matchday squad while ex-Gor Mahia man Meddie Kagere starts from the bench.

Serial goalscorer John Bocco will captain the ‘Wekundu wa Msimbazi’.

The game will be played at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium with kick-off set at 3.30 pm.
