Posta Rangers got their first win of the season after beating Vihiga United 0-1 in Mumias. Before this clash, Rangers had drawn in all but one of their games this season and had been labelled the Fulham Fc of the FKFPL.

After 7 games, Posta had 6 draws and lost 1 but finally got their first win of the campaign at the 8th time of asking.

The Mailmen scored through William Odero’s stunning strike in the 70th minute and held on to take home all the 3 points in a game that saw two players get their marching orders.

First it was Vihiga United’s Junior Adeyeba who was sent off for high-boot on Posta’s Joseph Mbugi in the 80th minute before Odete took one for the mailmen deep into added time.

Sunday’s win take Posters to 8th on the League standings with 9 points while Vihiga United are 16th on 5 points.
