Businessman and politician Zedekiah Kiprop Bundotich alias Buzeki is seeking to enter into a mutual partnership with KPL side AFC Leopards.
Speaking after paying a courtesy call at Ingwe offices where he held lengthy discussions with chairman Dan Shikanda, Buzeki called on the club to share the kind of partnership they want with him.
“We have to stop talking and walk the talk. The Club can share the kind of engagement how they would like to have with us and we can work out a mutually beneficial partnership” he said.
He also revealed that he has always been great fan of AFC Leopards.
“I remember when I was young, without the TV, I knew the Leopards players by name by just following the matches on the radio. AFC Leopards has always been my team,” he said.
Despite recently inking a sponsorship deal with betting firm BetSafe, AFC Leopards is still in need of more financiers as the club continues its rebuilding process.
Chairman Dan Shikanda reiterated on the need for more partners on board.
“We need more partners on board. We are delighted to have you with us here at the club during these challenging and we look forward to creating long-lasting working partnership with you. We need all our fans back in the stadium,” he said.
Buzeki presented a cheque of Ksh.500, 000 to Ingwe and promised to bring more companies on board to support the club.
