Victor Osimhen celebrated Diego Maradona with photos of him wearing an Argentina jersey with the number 10 and Diego Maradona’s name on the back.

The Super Eagles star paid tribute to the legacies of Diego Armando Maradona on social media after the Nigerian forward wore the Argentine’s legend jersey.

Maradona is arguably considered one of the best players to have played football in the late 80s and early 90s and won the World Cup with Argentina in 1986.

The Argentine forward made his name in Europe when he played for Napoli between 1984 and 1991, scoring a total of 115 goals in a total of 251 appearances and also winning the league twice.

Osimhen who is now a fan favourite at Napoli after emerging as the club’s top scorer in the Serie A this season, honoured Maradona with a post on his Instagram account.

The Super Eagles striker who is a big fan of Maradona has revealed he plans to emulate the now deceased legend by fighting for Serie A title next season.
