The prolonged Premier League season came to a close on Sunday after nearly 12 months since it started in August last year. Liverpool claimed the bragging rights by lifting their first league title in 30 years.

The Turkish defender has been a revelation this season since stepping up into the first team. He has made the foxes fans quickly forget Harry Maguire who left for Manchester United in the Summer. An excellent reader of the game, fast and has an incredible tackle success rate.

Runner up: John Egan (Sheffield United)

LB: Andrew Robertson (Liverpool)

The Scotsman has a breathtaking amount of energy. He literally cover every blade of grass down the Liverpool left-hand side. Has been superb both defensively and offensively this season. He has an impressive 12 assists to his name.

Runners up: Ben Chilwell (Leicester City)

RM: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)

The diminutive winger has had another stellar season. He has scored 20 premier league goals proving to be more efficient in-front of goal. More is yet to come from the Englishman.

Runners up: Adama Traore (Wolves)

CM: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool)

The FWA player of the season has been incredible this season. Liverpool have won 90% of their games with him in the side compared to 56% without him. A leader and huge figure in the Liverpool dressing room became the first Reds skipper to lift the Premier League trophy

Runners Up : Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City)

CM: Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

The Belgian Maestro has capped of a wonderful season by equaling the longstanding assists record of 20. He has proved to be the chief-in-assist leader for the second season running. De Bruyne has also scored an incredible 13 goals from midfield and is a top contender for player of the season.

Runners up: Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

LM: Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Sadio Mane has proved once again this season that he is right at the top with the best players in the world. The Senegalese has scored 18 goals and set up 7 more for his teammates. He has scored some crucial goals this season that have won his team a massive 18 points.

Runners up: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

ST: Pierre-Emerrick Aubameyang (Arsenal)

Despite Arsenal’s struggles on the pitch this season, The Gunners skipper has been the lethal in-front of goal. His 22 goals saw him become one of the four players to notch 20+goals for six consecutive season.

ST: Jamie Vardy (Leicester City)

Leicester’s sharpshooter became the oldest player to win the golden boot at 33 years. It’s hard to believe that the striker was playing non-league football 9 years ago. He has been a good servant for the 2016 champions.

Manager: Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool)

Jurgen has paid the faith shown to him by Liverpool’s owners. He has delivered the First League title in 30 years. His brand of high-octane football is always a joy to watch.
