Kenya Premier League side Sony Sugar handed in a second consecutive walkover when the team failed to turn up for their match against Tusker FC at the Machakos Stadium.

The Match was set to kick off at 10.00 PM but the Paul Nandwa led side was a no show with only the Tusker FC players, Match officials and the ball boys taking to the field of play.

With the walkover, Tusker FC are set to be handed 3 Points and 2 Goals.

Sony Sugar FC on the other hand is staring at relegation and should they dish out another walkover, the Awendo based side will have to make do with the Lower League.

This is not the first time Sony is handing in a walkover. The team already gave an easy three points and two goals to AFC Leopards in their own backyard of Awendo after failing to avail themselves for their clash.

Another KPL Side, Chemelil Sugar FC already handed in a walkover to Dockers Bandari FC. The Millers sighted Travel challenges as the main reason for not honouring their match against Bandari.

The match was set for the Mbaraki Sports Complex and was to kick off at 3 PM.
