StarTimes will broadcast Sunday’s FKF Premier League match between Gor Mahia and Ulinzi.

According to the fixture schedule seen by Sports Plug, the match will be played at Kasarani Stadium from 3 PM.

It will be the first league match for both clubs, which have had a delayed season due to wrangles with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) over broadcast rights.

Ulinzi particularly will be hoping to get their season started having not played a competitive match since March when the Kenya Premier League was suspended due to COVID-19.

The soldiers announced on Tuesday that they have sorted the differences they had with FKF and are ready to kickstart their season.
“The dust has settled! We start off our season this weekend. Saturday, to be precise…we face off with the reigning champions, Gor Mahia FC at Kasarani starting 3pm,” Ulinzi said in a statement.

Gor have not issued a statement on the match but club chairman Ambrose Rachier has previously stated that his boys are ready to honor league fixtures.

K’ogallo will need competitive matches as they prepare for a season defining CAF Champions League fixture agains Algerian side CR Belouizdad.

Winning the match will guarantee them a place in the group stage of Africa’s premier club competitions and a Ksh 50 million pay check.
