Kenyan Premier League side Wazito FC have secured the signature of Striker Elvis Rupia from Zambian side Power Dynamo FC. The Kenyan club have confirmed that the player has been training with them and has impressed the technical bench.
His ability to combine well with midfielders and strikers is the notable attribute that has solidified his competitiveness.
“It’s great to be back in the local scene and turning out for Wazito FC is a proud moment for me. I am looking forward to giving my all to ensure the team achieves its season targets,” said Rupia.
Before joining the Zambian side last year July, he played for Nzoia Sugar FC where he left as the top-scorer for the team.
Giving his comments during the player’s unveiling, the club’s sporting director Solomon Alubala said that he believes that the player will add diversity, skills, and power to the striking force of the club.
“We are happy with the progress he is making and confident that he will shine,” noted Alubala.
Wazito have already signed Derrick Otanga, Joshua Otieno and Kelvin Omondi from Sony Sugar FC, Pistone Mutamba from Sofapaka, Gad Mathews from Kariobangi Sharks, Bernard Ochieng from Vihiga United and Kenya U17 keeper Bixente Otieno.
