Wazito FC have confirmed the signing of Boniface Omondi. The speedy winger joins the Aidos Kuneen sponsored side from Gor Mahia.

Before Gor, Omondi had stints at Agro-Chemicals and Bungoma based Nzoia Sugar FC.

He joins Wazito with a wealth of experience having played at the biggest stages of African football which are the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederations cup while at Kogallo.

“I want to thank God for the opportunity to join Wazito FC. I know that it is a good side because I have faced them in the league. The goal is to help the team lift titles and I know that it is possible. To the fans, I urge them to keep rallying behind the team and everything will be alright,” he told the club’s official website.

Wazito head coach Fred Ambani described Omondi as a serial winner who brings with him great experience to his side.

‘Boni is a good player. He is a serial winner with a very good winning mentality and that will be a boost for the team. He has played in the Caf Champions League and Caf Confederation Cup and joining the team with such experiences is definitely a big positive for the team,” Said Ambani.

Omondi is Wazito’s fourth signing after Vincent Oburu, Mark Otieno, and Kevin Kimani.
